The William Marshall Charity is a local charity for its community. It reliant on the generosity of its community to continue to fulfil its objectives.

Ways You Can Make a Difference

There are several ways you may wish to get involved with the William Marshall Charity:

Trusteeship

Each trustee of the William Marshall Charity must through residence, occupation or employment or otherwise have special knowledge of the Parish of Welney.

Trustees must be 17 years old or older, there must be at least three trustees of which one must be 18 years or older.

There can be up to 6 trustees, not more than three nominated by the Welney Parish Council and not more than 1 trustee nominated by the Ecclesiastical Parish of St Mary the Virgin, Welney.

Trustee opportunities will be advertised as they become available.

Volunteering

There may from time to time be opportunities for volunteering to support the charity. If you are interested in volunteering, hold an up-to-date DBS check please contact the clerk.


Spreading the Word

For the charity to fulfil its objectives we need as many people in the village to know with an interact with the charity. Please therefore spread the word and let your friends and neighbours know about the charity and its work.
